Description
Villa Arvedi has been documented since 1200 as a house owned by Mastino, Alberto and Cangrande della Scala. In 1432 it was described as a possession with a crenellated house with a wine and oil press.
Located along the slope of a hill, it is bordered upstream by a cultivation of ancient olive trees and a thick forest of oaks and hornbeams.
Towards the middle of 1650 it was erected to a design by the architect G.B. Bianchi in its current form. The hall on the first floor and the church are completely frescoed by Ludovico Dorigny (1654-1742). Other frescoes are by Farinati, Fralezza and Santo Prunati.
In the center of the back courtyard is the Baroque church dedicated to St. Charles Borromeo, which tradition has it that he hosted during his journey to Trent for the Council of 1485. The majestic seventeenth-century Villa Allegri was purchased in 1824 by Giovanni Antonio Arvedi and is still owned by the Arvedi family.
Villa Arvedi is 9 kilometers from Verona, a few kilometers from the motorway exits and the Catullo airport in Villafranca (VR), close to Lake Garda, in the green Valpantena at the foot of the Lessini Mountains.
It is a prestigious venue for conventions, seminars, press conferences, fashion shows, product presentations, films, commercials, business lunches, gala dinners, small and large meetings.
In the Villa, it is also possible to celebrate civil weddings.
The fresh air of the countryside, the charming, refined atmosphere and the charm of the Villa Veneta create an extraordinary space for work and relaxed concentration. The villa has been chosen by various important national and foreign companies for their events.
