The Montepiano Farmhouse is located in an enchanting corner of Sabina, a few kilometers from Rome, among expanses of olive trees and historic woods. The farm offers hospitality in an ancient and charming sixteenth-century building, owned by the family for about three centuries, which is located in the historic center of Montasola. The structure consists of three panoramic apartments furnished with period furniture for a total of 10 beds. The apartments available are all independent and located in a building built on the walls of Montasola. Recently renovated, all have comforts specified on the site that we invite you to visit, the rooms retain antique furnishings, the kitchen is equipped with linen. Each room boasts a breathtaking view of the entire surrounding area, thanks to terraces and balconies. The relative panoramic height means that from the structure you can see Mount Soratte, Rome and its Dome, up to the splendid Cimini Mountains. Inside each apartment, guests have at their disposal maps of the places and illustrative books of the area. You can buy local products such as oil, bread, jams and sweets. Pets not allowed (to be agreed at the time of booking). Montasola is an enchanted place, where tourists can dream, meditate and enjoy the extraordinary horizons that characterize the entire area. The silence of the streets of the village, the sweetness of the surrounding landscape, the splendid sunsets behind the rolling hills, offer the right relaxation in an enchanting corner of Sabina. In the vicinity of Montasola you can find some typical restaurants, where you can taste the best local specialties as well as many other rich Italian dishes made with genuine products. For those who love sport, there is a large and welcoming swimming pool in the town of Cantalupo, just 10 minutes by car from Montepiano. Another swimming pool is located further away, in Montebuono about 30 minutes away. Golf enthusiasts can instead take advantage of the beautiful days and choose between three golf clubs (9 holes) located in Sabina. Other 18-hole golf courses can be reached in the northern Rome area (about an hour's drive). For those who love horses, a riding school is just 20 minutes away from the property. Every first Sunday of the month in Osteria Nuova, just 40 minutes away, a large country fair takes place, while the characteristic flea markets are on the second Sunday of each month in Gavignano, the third Sunday of each month in Rieti and the fourth Sunday of the month in Fara. For those who love folklore, from mid-July to the end of September, concerts, dances, film festivals and outdoor lunches are organized in the main squares of Montasola and in the neighboring villages.
