Located in the heart of Sicily, the Savoca farmhouse, by Alfonso Savoca, is an ideal destination for lovers of nature tourism. Inside the archaeological area of Piazza Armerina, home to the remains of the majestic Roman Villa and the excavations of Morgantina, the Savoca company mixes with the wonders of the landscape becoming a wonderful lush glimpse painted with the typical colors of the Sicilian countryside. The ancient and imposing nineteenth-century farmhouse, which is the fulcrum of the structure, offers rooms furnished in style, welcoming and suggestive. The rooms, independent, are located a short distance from the farmhouse overlooking a delightful grove of poplars. Grove that, during the summer, becomes an area dedicated to convivial celebrations. The Savoca farmhouse also offers ample camping space. Inside the structure there are welcoming and functional rooms, equipped with bathroom and kitchen, furnished with style furniture and able to accommodate a total of thirty people. The Savoca company offers a wide range of services: a swimming pool fed with sulphurous water, an area used for archery, paths through the poplar forest for hiking or horseback riding, which can also be traveled by bicycle. In addition, the company offers the possibility of hosting ceremonies, weddings, meetings and conferences. The farm organizes typical Sicilian cooking classes that retrace the typical and traditional peasant recipes. The farm offers its agricultural products including wine and oil strictly of organic origin, controlled livestock products such as chickens, eggs and milk as well as specialties such as house liqueurs (limoncello, fennel, walnut, rosolio and others).
