The school was founded in 2001 in Rome by Max Grossi and Marika Moretti, who aimed to bring to Italy an opening, an evolution towards the traditional vision in the practice of Hatha yoga, as it had been until then. Ego Yoga was the first yoga school in Italy, specialized in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, to offer the different teaching methodologies of the Asanas belonging to the Hatha Yoga tradition, at all levels of intensity. Since 2002 the Ego Yoga school has been chosen by Master Mark Blanchard as the only location in Europe for the training of teachers for the method he created, True Power Yoga and Max Grossi was appointed by Mark Blanchard as his only reference in Europe, coming from the Los Angeles school of the master and authorized to certify teachers in the TPY method. In 2008 the Ego Yoga school marked the history in the Fitness sector, presenting for the first time, a Yoga practice within the main Fitness fairs in Europe with True Power Yoga (Rimini Wellness and FIBO), giving life to the new trend in practicing Yoga as a Psychophysical preparation for all other Fitness disciplines. Max Grossi, known in the world of Fitness for having always been the promoter of disciplines aimed at well-being understood as the achievement of maximum vitality, has been teaching for over 20 years.
