Description
Our House is open to everyone: especially to families, groups and individuals, giving priority to girls who want to spend a period of prayer and personal reflection.
Guests who want to experience monastic life can spend a relaxing period of 'alternative holidays' or dedicated to prayer and spiritual exercise. Around us spaces of peace and silence in the enchantment of nature, to raise the soul towards the infinite and refresh itself in body and spirit.
Guests stay in our guesthouse: a complex of 15 rooms with bathrooms, separated from the 'Regina Pacis' Monastery of the Benedictine Sisters who take care of the reception; Inside we also provide them with a conference room with 50 seats, a restaurant service, park and parking.
The Regina Pacis Monastery is located in the territory of Vetralla, a few hundred meters from the Cassia, where you can reach Rome and Viterbo in a short time.
As St. Benedict requires in his Rule, Benedictine monasteries have always tried, over the years, to live and faithfully live and implement the spirit of charity and faith that animated our founder Saint Benedict. He, a man of faith and full of love, saw Christ in every person he welcomed and urged his children to do the same.
This is why the Benedictine Nuns of Vetralla, in fidelity to the Lord and in obedience to the Rule and the spirit of their Father St. Benedict, have opened a guesthouse reserved for the reception of those who need to spend a time of rest or prayer in the shadow of His spirituality.
We can accommodate up to 26 people, having 15 rooms, 11 doubles and 4 singles, all with bathrooms: the décor of the rooms is simple, but extremely functional.
All rooms are bright, tidy and clean, with private bathroom, equipped with telephone. The rooms are on two floors and almost all overlook the internal garden.
There are also services for the receptivity of disabled or disabled people.
In a lovely exhibition hall of our monastery you can find handicrafts and food and wine on offer.
These are handmade creations in glass, ceramics, terracotta, wood, delicious favors and boxes, icons, rosaries, medals and much more, strictly handmade; You will also find food and wine products, such as biscuits, jams, honey, myrtle and other liqueurs.
