The Comunità Montana Alto Tirreno Appennino Paolano is a Calabrian mountain community, located in the province of Cosenza. The headquarters of the Community is located in the town of Verbicaro in the 'San Francesco' district. The Mountain Community is the result of the merger between the old 'Comunità Montana Dorsale Appenninica Alto Tirreno' and the 'Comunità Montana Appennino Paolano', changing its name to 'Alto Tirreno Appennino Paolano'. The Mountain Community includes 11 municipalities that gravitate around the Coastal Range up to its border with Pollino. The area of the Mountain Community is 434.48 km² while its population is about 35,000 inhabitants.
