The Graveglia Valley is a valley in the province of Genoa, crossed almost entirely from the Creek of the same name. Its geographical area partly follows the municipality of Ne, created by the merger of several towns and villages scattered in the Valley. The territory is surrounded by several mountain peaks including the monte Zatta, located on the border of the neighboring provinces of Parma and La Spezia and from whose slopes (at an altitude of 950 meters) comes on stream Graveglia which passes through the Valley and then flows into the river Entella Chiavari in alluvial plain between the coastal municipalities (West) and Blackboard (East). The geographic positioning of the Valley, close by the surrounding mountains and land passage between the various historical cultural realities such as La Spezia and Parma, has meant that the territory underwent almost a kind of isolation and local affairs was autonomous route. As well as the municipality that mainly is-Ne-of which there is in fact a single historical version of the Valley, as its territory is formed by several villages, neighbourhoods and districts only later gathered and merged into a single municipality.
