The Val Grande National Park is located in the Lepontine Alps in Piedmont and Val Grande. Most of the territory of the Park is composed of mountain peaks that occur between valleys covered with deciduous forests. There are also forests of Elm, ash, Maple and sometimes also silver fir. Among the flowers are male, Edelweiss Orchid, rhododendron Ferruginous Hawk and Tulip. Between gi animals there is a large presence of chamois in the upper areas while in the slopes we find the marmots and finally, in the lower kite, Kestrel, tawny owls, buzzards, deer, Royal Eagle, marten, weasel, Badger, marten.
