The Gola di Gorropu is a deep canyon in Supramonte, Sardinia. The Gorge originated thanks to the intensive erosion caused the waters of the Rio Flumineddu River, which demarcates the border between the towns of Urzulei and Orgosolo. It is considered one of the deepest canyons in Europe. The easiest access route to the fault, which stretches from the Gulf of Orosei to Supramontes is near Urzulei, in località Genna Silana, along the State Road 125 at km 183. The canyon can be reached along a hiking trail (trail Sage ar Baccas-Gorropu B-502) expert for which you need the proper equipment. The Trail extends for a length of 12 kilometers, surpassing a vertical drop of 200 meters until you reach the Gorge of Gorropu, at the bottom of which flows the Rio Flumineddu. Travel time is three hours. The Gola di Gorropu is reachable from Dorgali: Cross (by car) the Oddoene until you reach the bridge of S ' abba Arva, from here continue on foot for about two hours along a stretch the Flumineddu River and the south slope of Monte Oddeu.
