The island of Pantelleria is located right in the middle of the Strait of Sicily. It is an island full of enchanted beaches but also of overhangs and suggestive sea caves. Thanks to its unspoiled nature and a cobalt blue sea, the island of Pantelleria remains in the memory of all those who spend their holidays there. A typical building in the area is the so-called Dammuso which, to allow insulation from outside temperatures, has a very particular shape that harmonizes perfectly with the environment, making it magical and unique in the world. The climate is warm but still tempered by the almost ubiquitous sea winds that blow very strongly and justify the nickname of 'Daughter of the Wind' given to it by the Arabs. It is the largest of Sicily's satellite islands, with an area of 83 km² and is also the westernmost one. It is located 120 kilometers from Sicily and 70 from the Tunisian coast. Its territory is of volcanic origin.
