Description

Ancient mill on the bank of the Arno, dating back to the thirteenth century and still intact in its romantic charm. Located near a small village (bars, shops, restaurant) it is completely immersed in the green of the Florentine countryside. The center of Florence is less than 5 km away and can be easily reached by car, bus or bicycle for a cycle path along the course of the river. The bedrooms, bathrooms and an independent room occupy a wing completely reserved for guests. In a carefully renovated environment and carefully furnished with period furniture, the rooms are equipped with a refrigerator and television with satellite antenna. The B&B La Martellina has large equipped outdoor spaces (garden and terrace directly overlook the river). Breakfast will be served in the beautiful garden surrounding the b&b. It also has private parking and the possibility of renting bicycles. The Bed and Breakfast La Martellina is immersed in the landscape of the green hills that form the river valley, in a small oasis of tranquility. It allows you to easily visit all the artistic heritage of the city thanks to the extremely convenient connections, or to dedicate your time to discovering the surroundings of Florence, without having to suffer the city traffic. A bus (very frequent) with a stop 200 meters from the B&B crosses the historic center of Florence, runs along the exhibition center, until it reaches the hospital.
