Orazio is the result of a long journey that began in 1957 by Simone's grandparents: Orazio and Maria. From here began a culinary dream in which conviviality and hospitality have distinguished the three generations. Today it is the place of evocative tradition, careful experimentation and warm sharing. Orazio is a company made up of people, beautiful energy and transversal skills that makes it a place of serenity and professionalism at high levels. Enhancing and promoting cod and typical Venetian cuisine is our mission. Researching ancient recipes and combining them with innovative techniques to create a balanced combination of past and present is our way. Our intent is to deepen the experience of the territory and its intrinsic values through our cuisine. Giving voice to the origins, the quality of the products, the wisdom of local producers through our "cooking" is our strongest desire. We love our land and we love to share it with others. Interacting with the other becomes of fundamental importance to start a communication rich in culinary and experiential content of good food and excellent wine of the Veneto Region. Our cuisine is a mature combination of tradition and innovation. Cod is the protagonist of our days in the kitchen together with dishes of long tradition. Stockfish of excellent quality from the Lofoten Islands (Norway) and the highest quality raw materials are the indispensable starting point for the success of our culinary essences. Long hours dedicated to the preparation of the ingredients and endless paths intended for cooking the dishes to make them unique and unforgettable. Time and attention are reserved for experiments; Even traditional recipes are a terrain of meticulous tests and special attention to give a touch of innovation and modernity in tune with modern culinary perspectives. The passionate research of the Chefs are at the heart of Orazio's project: to give importance to the tradition of the recipes of the past without taking away space for the evolution of tastes. Our wine cellar, like the menu, represents the culture and tradition of the Veneto Region. The decision to include exclusively Veneto wines on the list stems from the desire to convey knowledge of the regional territory, looking for native wines, exclusive selections and vines brought back to life thanks to the passion of local producers. The wines in our cellar are characterized by refined and precious scents. The vineyards are carefully followed by expert local producers who cultivate them in full respect of the cycles of the land and genuineness. Many of the wines we offer, in fact, come from organic and biodynamic cultivation.
